For the second time, DimsumLabs’ 3D Printing Meetup joins forces with 3D Hubs on April 2, 2015!

Event details: https://www.facebook.com/events/815859381837656/

The topic of this months MeetUp is the ultra low-cost Infinity 3D Printer, which is currently in development by Marc Rogivue with support of the PolyU. The printer is an excellent ultra low-cost platform ideal for educational purposes. It is assembled by up-cycling of common eWaste materials such as old DVD-Drives, Floppy Drives and PSU’s. Through upcycling of eWaste, the printer costs less than USD100!

If you’re interested to see the prototype in action, watch this video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ADmDbiKnlU

Besides seeing the prototype in action, this meetup is for both 3D-printer owners and anyone interested in 3D-print in general. The goal of the meeting is to share experiences, learn, exchange hints and tips.

There is no fee. Just come by, see, hear and talk 3D.
