UPDATE: the workshop went well, with 7 participants; keep an eye on HackJam and this website for the next edition!
To celebrate international Arduino Day we’ll have a hands-on Arduino introduction workshop on Wed eve 25 March 2015. We’ll introduce you to the basic Arduino setup and terminology of the world’s favourite open-source electronics prototyping platform, using your laptop to write short programs to control your Arduino. We’ll experiment with some simple hardware components such as LEDs, photoresistors, buzzers etc on a breadboard. These components are included in the workshop fee. No specific experience with hardware or software required. You will need to bring your own laptop, and install the Arduino software (IDE) in advance. You can have a look at the slides here. More details, and event registration here. Special discount for DSL members!
