Dr Radu Sporea of the Advanced Technology Institute of University of Surrey shared a fascinating talk at British Council Hong Kong’s Café Scientifique on plastic electronics, and I invited him to Dim Sum Labs‘s HackJam afterwards where he showed us the world’s first production ready plastic display by Plastic Logic.

He also talked about how his 16 year old student research interns were so helpful that their work with him got them published in prominent scientific journals already. His secret – don’t tell them that they are doing something that no one in the world has ever done before !
